ABOUT US

Generation after generation...

The De la Casa family origin is unclear, some sources point to the Loir in France, the House of Blois (de la Casa de Blois), when one of the knights traveled to Spain to help the King fight the invader moors.

Other sources, put the family origins in the Kingdom of Aragon, today Northern Spain bordering France. Perhaps both are true.

Of noble origin, many generations ago the family settled in a beautiful area not far from Madrid, close to Torija castle, which was associated with the Templar knights in the 12th century.

A rich valley, nest of a beautiful river and many water springs, the family was well

known for being traders (cattle, grain, lumber, wine,…) as well of for being

the sole bread makers of the area, until an unexpected fire burnt down their

business.

Several family members were well known business travelers and collectors, and thanks to them, today we have access to some amazing relics that they collected in their trips.

Currently the family descendants still live in Spain, but also in England and in Italy.

For generations the family has been collecting rare wines and spirits, as well as art, traveling the world looking for the great quality, and for the unique, the exceptional; working together with craftsmen and artisans to curate or even create very special bottles of superb quality wines and spirits, which are not usually advertised due to its rarity and very limited production.

While those very special bottles are mostly used for family memorials, a few are occasionally released for sale to a very exclusive clientele directly or via auctions.
